Transport for London (UK) is offering a tasty alternative to the Oyster card.
From May 30 to June 2, Lucozade — which makes energy and sports drinks — handed out samples of its energy drink in limited-edition bottles embedded with a chip. Customers could treat the bottle like a smart card, tapping it on a fare reader for one free trip on the city’s Underground network.
“We are excited for Lucozade Energy to be able to launch this new campaign on the Tube,” said Ashleigh Roberts, Lucozade Energy senior brand manager. “In a city that’s always on the go, we’re giving Londoners an extra opportunity to get where they need to be in a fun and unique way.” Link to full story in The Drum.
