Transit agencies love a holiday, and some operators are offering sweet deals, promos, and events for Valentine’s Day. Here’s a sampling:
- The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada is launching a deal for its bicycle-sharing program on Valentine’s Day. People can sign up for a 30-day RTC Bike Share membership for half price between February 14 and March 14 using the promo code SWEET14.
- The Greater Dayton RTA (OH) is encouraging riders to use the Transit mobile application. Riders can get a free ride on February 14 if they show the app to their bus driver.
- The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority is asking customers to share their SEPTA love connection. “Did your paths cross on the platform, eyes meet on the El, shoulders brush on the bus?” the website asks. “We want all of the juicy details.” Riders can share their story on the ISEPTAPHILLY website through February 19; the best story wins a monthly pass and a Dunkin’ Donuts gift certificate.
If I missed your agency’s promo, please add the info in the comments.
