San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit (CA) has extended its underground wireless network to three stations in Oakland, fixing what its website called a “mobile phone dead zone.” Now BART passengers can access a continuous mobile signal from Balboa Park to the Oakland underground stations via downtown San Francisco and the Transbay Tube.
