Transport for London to explore new ticketing options

With a new contract in place, Transport for London (UK) plans to explore options for its Oyster card. “TfL has already undertaken a trial of Oyster on bank cards and mobile phones but now that we have complete control over the Oyster brand we can investigate options that make life easier and more convenient for Londoners to travel while also increasing the accessibility of Oyster,” said TfL director of fares and ticketing Shashi Verma in a statement. TfL ended its contract with the Prestige Public Finance Initiative and entered a new agreement with Cubic Transportation Systems.
