The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (CA) unveiled new fare gates and ticket vending machines at Muni’s Civic Center station, as the agency prepares to transition to the regional Clipper card. The new equipment will go live throughout the system next month. Muni’s $30.1 million fare equipment project is supported by $11 million in federal stimulus funds along with additional funds from federal, state and regional sources. Link to SFMTA press release.
