While support for previous projects has been “inconsistent and ephemeral,” advocates believe that the political landscape is shifting. But until high-speed rail moves from theory to practice, The Inquirer argues, doubts will continue. “We have to show the traveling public that this is real, and let them experience it,” said Joseph C.
