Some Oyster card users charged twice

Transport for London has refunded £40,000 to customers who were overcharged when adding value to their Oyster smart cards. BBC London learned through a freedom of information request that TfL received more than 2,400 rider complaints about double-charging in 2010. The agency is advising customers to check their bank account after topping up their cards. Link to full story in BBC News.
