MBTA commuters can’t wait for pay-by-phone

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is introducing a remote payment system for its park-and-ride lots — and customers can’t wait. Passengers will be able to pay for parking by phone, text, or Internet starting on Friday, but 1,000 people have already signed up for online accounts. Link to full story in the Boston Herald.
