As part of a website upgrade, currently in beta form, Winnipeg Transit (MB) has released two new applications to help riders navigate the system. BUSguide is a version of the agency’s website optimized for mobile browsers. New features will take advantage of the browser’s ability to share location, including Plan a trip from here and Stops nearby. BUSgadget is a widget that allows users to create a customized list of bus routes with real-time arrival information. Link to full story in the Winnipeg Free Press.
