Recycled plastics pave the way

Wondering what happens to those empty printer cartridges? The City Fix reports on transportation-related uses for recycled plastics, including a bicycle path in Australia’s Northern Territory paved with plastic made from printer cartridges and a Spanish bike lane divider made from recycled PVC cable coatings. On a grander scale is a railroad bridge in Fort Eustis (VA) made from recycled milk jugs and car bumpers.
