WMATA will share data with developers

by Susan on June 9, 2010

Greater Greater Washington reports that the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (DC) plans to make its data available to third-party developers, including Google. Releasing data is expected to begin this summer and require $30,000 a year for a “data management solution to keep the data secure and uninterrupted.” Link to full story in Greater Greater Washington.
