The New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission is looking for a taxi of tomorrow — specs call for an iconic design that incorporates sustainability, accessibility, driver comfort, and a superior passenger experience. The TLC has yet to make a decision, but among the proposals is the four-seat electric Unicab. To support cab-sharing, the taxi would include “digital visors” that display lights to show where the cab is going and how many seats are available. Link to full story in The City Fix.
