Amtrak extends free WiFi

After a three-month trial, Amtrak announced plans to make free WiFi permanent on all Boston (MA) – Washington (DC) Acela trains. Almost 40% of passengers used the service during the pilot test, and about three-quarters reported a positive experience. Amtrak plans to extend WiFi to other trains around the country, starting with service in the Northeast Corridor and California. Link to full story in The Baltimore Sun.
