Fourteen apps that use LA Metro data

It’s been a year since the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (CA) made its route and schedule data public and, to date, 14 applications are using the information. In The Source, Fred Camino highlights his must-have apps: Transitly (“indispensable”), UniBus (which uses the iPhone’s GPS feature to find nearby stops) , and iTrans (“a steal” at 99 cents). Also worth checking out: a couple of apps to avoid.
