Calgary police have released on-board surveillance video to seek public assistance in finding two men who took an empty Calgary Transit (AB) bus for a joyride. “The two suspects, while driving the bus, were very wanton and reckless. It appears as though they were speeding,” said acting Staff Sgt. Kristie Verheul. “The video does indicate there are times in the travels that they were all over in the bus, hard turns were happening, and there was some property damage.” The Calgary Transit driver left the diesel bus running while he took a restroom break; policy allows drivers to leave their buses idling for up to five minutes.
