Twin Cities bus arrival info removes customer guesswork

When Metro Transit, serving Minneapolis / St. Paul (MN), introduced NexTrip, skeptics predicted that only a few riders would use the real-time bus arrival system. Two years later,the system receives more than 40,000 hits a day by phone, wireless, or Internet, and 30,000 riders who can see or hear real-time updates on message boards in downtown Minneapolis. “It takes the guesswork out of the minds of our customers,” said spokesman Bob Gibbons.
