El Paso’s Sun Metro (TX) will start installing the first of 200 new bus shelters in a few weeks. The shelters will be equipped to display real-time bus location, but the technology is not yet in place. “The shelters can accommodate that technology, and our goal is to one day soon install it,” said spokeswoman Laura Cruz-Acosta. “But the funds are not here yet to buy the displays.” Link to full story in El Paso Times.
