NJ TRANSIT expanded DepartureVision to Pennsylvania Station (NY) and Hoboken Terminal (NJ), making online access available for real-time train departure information at all of its rail stations. DepartureVision allows customers to view train departure screens — with departure time, train status, and track assignment — on computers or web-enabled mobile devices. “The expansion of DepartureVision is part of NJ TRANSIT’s ongoing effort to put technology to work for our customers,” said executive director James Weinstein in a statement. “Now customers can view real-time travel information for the entire NJ TRANSIT rail system while on the go or from the convenience of their home or office.” Link to full press release.
