Amtrak,  along with the Oklahoma and Texas departments of transportation, is testing a biodiesel fuel blend in the Heartland Flyer, which provides daily passenger service between Oklahoma City (OK) and Fort Worth (TX).  The fuel includes beef by-products and is produced in Texas. A grant from the Federal Railroad Administration is supporting the 12-month test. Link to full story in Progressive Railroading.
