As if getting around New York City in last week’s snowstorm wasn’t hard enough, the weather delayed the rollout of the city’s cab-sharing program. Up to four passengers will be able to share a taxi along three defined routes in Manhattan at a flat fare. Ridesharing will be allowed on weekdays only, from 6 AM to 10 AM. According to the city’s Taxi and Limousine Commission, the program will begin on Wednesday, March 3. Link to full story in the New York Times.
