Nashville to add real-time information

The Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority (TN) plans to implement a passenger information system that will relay real-time information to message signs, smart phones, and its website.  Message signs will incorporate technology that allows visually impaired passengers to hear the information that is displayed on the signs. “The electronic message sign project will help us improve our riders’ experience by providing them with several methods of accessing real-time bus service information,” said director of planning Jim McAteer. According to a press release, MTA selected ACS for the project.  Link to full story in Fox Business News.
