The roll-out for Dublin’s integrated ticketing project will be delayed until the end of 2011, almost 10 years after the original deadline. Pilot testing is expected to start in 2010, according to the Railway Procurement Agency, which is overseeing the project. ”During 2010 they are going to start staff testing, then a small number of customers will be invited to use them,” said an agency spokesman. ” Also during 2010, depending on how each phase goes, other operators will start to participate.” Link to full story in Irish Independent.
