Victoria recalls 30,000 myki cards

The Victoria Transport Ticketing Authority, in Australia,  has recalled 30,000 myki contactless cards. The cards were inactive and recalled primarily from stations, not customers.The agency, which is rolling out the smartcard in Melbourne, was recently criticized for agreeing to make customer data available to police to support investigations.
