The government of Korea’s Gyeonggi Province banned the Seoul Bus application for iPhone users last month, but reversed its decision after a public backlash. The popular application, developed by a high school student, provides real-time information for buses in the province. Korean government agencies are trying to develop policies for the use of public data.
