Commuters on San Francisco (CA) Bay Area Rapid Transit were disappointed as the new wireless service in the Transbay Tube did not work as anticipated. From the San Francisco Chronicle:
Phone calls from at least two of the four carriers that installed and paid for the wireless access dropped as usual as trains entered the Transbay Tube, texting was often unavailable, and Internet pages failed to load.
Both AT&T and T-Mobile said that service would be available within a few days. Link to full story in San Francisco Chronicle.
