Delhi tests contactless card

Delhi, India, is testing contactless smart cards on its buses. A five-month trial started in November as part of the Delhi Integrated Multi Modal Transit System, which is a joint initiative of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi  and the Infrastructure Development Finance Company. Cubic installed the smart card technology on buses operated by the Delhi Transport Corporation.
