Two Nevada organizations proposed to locate a high-speed rail research and development facility in North Las Vegas. The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Transportation Research Center and the Ward 5 Chamber of Commerce want to create a neutral center where developers could test different technologies in a desert setting.
