Port Authority blames software and faulty signal for delays

Officials from Pittsburgh’s Port Authority of Allegheny County (PA) said that software glitches and a faulty signal were to blame for a recent series of service delays. “I would still characterize it as a computer glitch, but it has a real impact on riders when it occurs,” said spokesman Jim Ritchie. “They’re telling me it’s clearly the software.” Link to full story in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
