India government plans anti-collision devices

The India Ministry of Railways is studying ways to make railroads accident-free, including installation of collision-avoidance devices. “Whenever there is an accident, we talk about anti-collision devices and other safety measures,” said railway minister Mamata Banerjee. “We have decided this time that we have to go ahead in terms of short-term vision and long-term vision.”  Link to full story in The Economic Times.
