Two new applications came to our attention recently. SmartLocator lets transit riders find a bus stop, get real-time arrival information, and provide feedback to customer service on a BlackBerry or iPhone. T-on-Time is a desktop widget for Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority commuter rail riders. Users can add a countdown clock on their computer that incorporates schedule data, real-time alerts, and Twitter feeds from fellow commuters.
