The Seattle Department of Transportation has set up a Facebook page to stay in touch with residents about winter weather preparations. According to SDOT’s press release, the page “provides an additional way for the public to ask questions, make comments, and to share photos.” The City of Seattle was criticized last winter for its response to a major snowstorm.
