Vermont students develop bus tracking application

Two students at the University of Vermont developed an application to track the whereabouts of campus buses. Students log into the Bus Line Information Retrieval Program, or blirpit, with their student IDs. Using a computer or iPhone they can see a map of the campus with real-time bus locations; cell-phone users can get the location information via text message.
