Chile to monitor transit use with ITS

Chile’s transportation and telecommunications ministry plans to use intelligent transportation systems to monitor transit use. Ministerio de Transportes y Telecomunicaciones will establish the demand for public transportation  in rural and urban areas, as required under the country’s new law for mass transit subsidies.
