Walk Score, the website that calculates walkability for U.S. cities, has added transit to the mix. Users can enter a street address and receive a walkability score that factors in access to near-by amenities. The transit information is available only for cities with publicly accessible Google Transit feeds. For residents where the information is not available, the website includes an online petition for citizens to request a public transit data feed. Link to full post in Sightline Daily.
