Invasion of the pod cars

A story in The Boston Globe on personal rapid transit — AKA “pod cars” — presents arguments from both sides of this sometimes polarizing issue. Identifying several PRT projects currently in planning or construction, including systems for London’s  Heathrow Airport and Abu Dhabi’s Masdar City, The Globe writes: “With the current flurry of projects, a verdict may at last arrive — we may soon find out whether pod cars are destined to become a retro-futuristic curiosity or indeed the transportation of tomorrow.” Link to full story in The Boston Globe.
