U Car Share came to Utah this week. Twelve vehicles are parked at Utah Transit Authority stations across the region, and the program is scheduled to expand to the University of Utah and other locations throughout Salt Lake City. U-Haul sponsors the program, with participation from UTA, Salt Lake City and the university. Members pay a $25 enrollment fee and an hourly rate to rent the car.
