The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (CA) has started to install traffic cameras at 14 intersections along its Gold Line extension. The cameras are intended to discourage drivers from crossing the light-rail tracks against the signal. The current fine for a photo enforcement violation is $445.
