New Jersey Transit is testing DepartureVision, an application that displays train departure boards on mobile devices. Customers using the service will be able to view actual train departure screens — showing arrival time, track assignment, and train status. The beta test, expected to last 6-10 weeks, will use train departure boards for Frank R. Lautenberg Station at Secaucus Junction. Link to full story in Metro Magazine.
