More than 500 workers at Japan’s Keihin Electric Express Railway face daily “smile scans” in the interest of customer service. As reported in The Mainichi Daily News, software analyzes each worker’s facial characteristics and rates his or her smile from 0% to 100%. Workers will receive a printout of their best smile to carry around all day as a reminder. Link to full story in The Mainichi Daily News.
