CTA rolls out new articulated hybrid buses

The Chicago Transit Authority unveiled the first of 58 new articulated hybrid buses this week.  Purchased with federal economic stimulus funds, the New Flyer buses are expected to save CTA more than $7 million a year in fuel and maintenance costs. The rest of the buses are expected to arrive this fall. Link to full story in Chicago Tribune.
