The National Association of Counties honored Miami-Dade Transit for its popular Train Tracker service. Besides allowing passengers to check train arrival times on their computers or mobile devices, Train Tracker provides links to information about connecting bus service and the operating status of escalators and elevators at the stations. “We’re very honored to receive this award for our Train Tracker,” said MDT Director Harpal Kapoor, “But what has been most rewarding is knowing how the system has enhanced the riding experience for our customers.” Link to full story in Metro Magazine.
