Passengers on the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey‘s PATH trains are subject to additional security screening starting this week. The Port Authority is partnering with the Transportation Security Administration to test the passive millimeter wave, which can detect explosives and other devices hidden under clothing. According to the Port Authority, the screening device poses no risk, and passengers who do not want to participate must leave the station. Link to full press release from Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
