A city councilor wants Boston (MA) to enroll in Zipcar’s FastFleet program, a car-sharing program for government employees. Councilor Sam Yoon believes the program would allow the city to eliminate up to a third of its 875 cars. “It’s a system that’s going to save the city money, and it will mean fewer cars actually on the streets,” said Yoon. “It will save our environment, and it will ensure that we’re more efficient.” Link to full story in The Boston Globe.
