Mapumental is an interactive application that shows the relationship between UK transit travel times, real estate values, and scenic communities. Still in private beta, Mapumental is not a traditional transit trip planner. Instead it allows users in the UK to visualize where they can live if they want a commuting time of 30 minutes, for example. Additional options can filter findings by real estate value and a factor called “scenicness.” Link to full story in MySociety blog.
