Urban visionaries foresee electric buses

Visionaries in London and Seoul foresee a future with “buses gliding through their streets with speed, ease and efficiency — without emitting the exhaust fumes that scientists say are contributing to global warming.” London (UK) mayor Boris Johnson sees the city’s double-decker buses running on electricity, while scientists at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology are developing a system that powers vehicles with induction strips in the road.
