At the 1939 World’s Fair the Futurama exhibit treated visitors to a picture of a streamlined future. Some 70 years later, At Lincoln House, the blog of the Lincoln Institute for Land Policy, reports on a recent meeting of engineers, architects, planners, and creative thinkers to consider a new Futurama — “a vision of what life might be like in 2050, when more sustainable arrangements are likely to be in place, including more transport options such as transit, energy-efficient buildings, and renewable power sources including solar and wind.” Link to full post in At Lincoln House.
