A Facebook group has sprung up to support an extension of Vancouver’s SkyTrain to serve the University of British Columbia and the Broadway corridor. In the words of this grassroots organization, “The Broadway corridor is of not just local importance but also of regional importance, being the second largest employment centre outside of Vancouver City Centre. It is in need of a mass transit service that is fast, reliable, and convenient.” The Facebook group has more than 900 members. Link to full story in Vancouver Metro.
