Metrolink installs high-tech equipment

The chairman of Southern California’s Metrolink described the agency’s efforts to improve passenger safety in the wake of a 2008 crash. Metrolink plans to install automatic train stop technology at 43 locations this summer and, by the end of the year, all cars will have crash energy management technology to dissipate the force of a crash throughout the train. Link to full story in Ventura County Star.
