The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority has joined other government agencies (and TheTransitWire) by launching a page on Facebook. According to Metro, the page will enable the agency to share information and communicate with riders in less formal way. RSS feeds show real-time information about Metrorail and Metrobus service disruptions, and the page includes videos and a discussion board.
