Moscow Metro goes contactless

Moscow has become the world’s first public transportation system to use a completely contactless automatic fare collection system.  Based on MIFARE technology from NXP Semiconductors, the system has increased passenger convenience, improved operating efficiency, and reduced fraud.  Moscow Metro serves about nine million passengers a day.  Link to full story in ContactlessNews.

Jacksonville transit officials and first responders have new eyes on Skyway trains and stations
